FROST FRENCH STORE LAUNCH
24 09 07 - 12:01 Piggy backing on fashion week (i.e. attempting to ratchet up the celeb-count by throwing a party when the international press were already in town) was the launch of the new Frost French store. The new shop is on a super-chic street barely two metre wide called Camden Passage, in London’s evening time Mecca, Islington. Guests spilled out onto the tiny path out of the low-ceilinged shop that was devolving into a full-on sweatbox. Designer duo behind the line, Jude Law’s ex Sadie Frost and Jemima French (oooh, “Frost French”, now you get it!) teetered around the store looking more than a little flustered by the gaggle invading their new outpost. Guests were treated to bags with an odd assemblage of goodies: a tee shirt with a crossword motif (what fashionista reads?! JK), and a bar of chocolate. Thankfully, there was a pot of seaweed gunk tossed in to counteract the negative effects of cocoa indulgence.SARAH MASLIN NIR

The champagne flowed. And – cue rapidly disintegrating supermodel – Kate Moss was there in a flash to polish off a flagon. With unsightly skin looking quite a bit worse for the wear, Ms. Moss showed up on classy black flares with a decidedly less classy see-through white shirt, no bra. Kelly Osborn also made an appearance, though Moss wandered around only briefly before calling “’c’mon gang,” over her shoulder and leading the whole lot Pied-Piper style out of the venue.
