ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

09 10 07 - 10:20 Alexander McQueen's spring collection was created in homage to his mentor, the late Isabella Blow. McQueen commissioned one of Blow's favorite designers and collaborators Philip Treacy to design elaborate hats for each of the models. The collection was brimming with belted jackets, kimono inspired looks and wildly feathered dresses also inspired by Blow. The result? A fantastic mélange of fabrics and prints, cuts and shapes that was at once risqué and imaginative and totally wearable.
