Playground

11 12 07 - 18:19 At the A + D Museum on Wilshire, where architecture and design collide, Gen Art’s “Art in Motion” gala brought together LA’s fashion and art elite. Both a party and an exhibit, the music/dance-filled event toasted Playground, a newish bi-annual collection of art and fashion prints by over 25 renowned artists. Names we recognize include Surface to Air, Tierney Gearon, and Terence Koh (and more!). Their works, among those of many others, were ostentatiously (but fabulously) splashed across the gallery walls. The best part is, this collection, curated by Zach Gold and Julie Ragolia, has a minimal run of 250 limited edition prints that are available through Colette in Paris, project no. 8 in NY, the MOCAand All Purpose in LA, and Selfridges Wonder Room in London. And while I’d love a print, my wallet tells me that I’ll have to settle for the images below.
