The Good Stuff.

Yo guyz, here are some things to go to in the next weeks!

A) Chief at the Bowery Ballroom.

B) A trip to Coney Island.

C) A really great art opening.

To really know why, read more!

First of all, this is Chief’s first time performing at the Bowery Ballroom, and you are not going to want to miss some ACTUAL good music in downtown NYC. Speaking from an experienced Chief concert goer, their live shows are the best vibes. Don’t miss them on April 8th at 8:30 pm. Also check their myspace and listen to my favorite song of theirs, “Your Direction”. This should get you pumped for Tuesday night! Secondly, Coney Island has supposedly been closing down for the past billion summers, but it is still open! Me and a few kids went out there this weekend to scope it out. It is the coolest place because it has such a weird creepy abandoned feeling, but is beautiful at the same time. The Cyclone roller coaster is still up and running, and is one of the best rides I have experienced in awhile. Maybe because it feels like the structure itself is going to break while you are being shaken up and thrown around. Also the Freak Show is a must see if you take the trip out there. Nails up noses, swords down throats, fire on tongues, all performed for an audience of 4 people. This is another crazy Coney feature that makes it seem like you are not in reality. And I almost forgot… “Shoot the Freak”. Where else could you shoot paint balls at a person running around in a trash yard? Along with some ACTUALLY good downtown music, get ready for some ACTUALLY good downtown art. Sage Grazer, Brendan Lynch, Jack Greer, and Sachi Nasatir present “Here Goes Nothing” April 11 at the National Arts Club in Grammercy Park. The show will consist of pieces from all different mediums, from some very talented artists. Save the date! Peace~ Spacey Tracy
