Street Heart
If you go down to Bayard Street in Chinatown, you will find a tiny Bubble Tea emporium that is my new favorite place.
First of all, it has a giant Homer Simpson statue outside.
Second of all, it has a giant Nightmare Before Christmas doll inside.
Then there are the vending machines – giant Bubble Gum dispensers that spit out Japanese charms of Pandas, Kitties, Robots, Tinkerbells, and other basic forms of amazingness.
And then there are the girls who work there.
If you can find a cuter, cooler, hotter, more stylish teenybopper in all of Manhattan, then I will buy you Bubble Tea, because this girl, with her dyed and crimped and teased hair, her liquid black-glitter eyeshadow, and her t-shirt slashed to the shoulders, is ah-mazing. I’m so in love. Should I try and dress like this tomorrow? xo faran

Yes, she’s definitely adorable, but how about looking at the big picture, the truth about communication between guys and gals?

Here in hawaii, you find girls like that all over waikiki. They’re the cutest things ever! And have the most enviable style.
