Hey dudes, listen in to Diesel:U:Music! Now running in its 8th year, the streaming radio station is broadcasting some new programs and launching initiatives. D:U:M is inviting the listening community to submit their favorite unsigned bands, where popular musicians will even get a shot at Diesel studio time, in-store performances, and organizing world-wide tour dates. There are also new D:U:M weekly shows like “Culture Shock Radio” which airs live from London, featuring new and old indie tracks and interviews with guests (this week’s guest is Shepard Fairey). Turn it up~ JINNIE LEE x
You’re probably aware of the Gap and Whitney Museum collaboration, where 13 contemporary artists — those including Jeff Koons, Chuck Close, and Marilyn Minter — were enlisted to create designs for a limited-edition t-shirt collection.
Now, the art you can wear is now the art you can view at the Gap 2008 Artist Collection Exhibit!
Looks like the famed public park, best known as the hub of New York Fashion Week, continues to showcase innovative style even in the off-season.
And lucky for us, we’re all invited to this one.
The Gap 2008 Artist Collection T-shirts Exhibit is now on view until June 4th.
