Wowowowowow. Have you ever experienced a film or book that keeps you haunted long after it’s over?
I’m not the type of gal that gushes over many things but I had the opportunity to see the documentary Beautiful Losers last night and it was one of the most awe-inspiring pieces of work I’ve seen in a very long time. I still haven’t fully digested what I’ve seen but I know this will be on my mind for the next few days.
If there is a shred of creative force within you, or if you appreciate the arts, or if you are remotely passionate about anything, Beautiful Losers will move you. I swear. Director Aaron Rose rounded up the major players of street art like Mike Mills, Harmony Korine, Shepard Fairey, Ed Templeton and more, and has created something truly magical. It’s a raw and unpretentious look into the “fu*k it and do-it-yourself” lifestyle.
