Diane likes good tees.
I’m not a big T-shirt person. Despite living in sunny California, I rarely wear Ts unless it’s to the gym or to bed. I’m a button down-Steven Alan-type of person, don’t hate. That’s because most t-shirts usually suck (please prove me wrong, please!) But then I found out about this:
Twelve Bar (an apparel brand based in London and Los Angeles) recently released Ts for UCLA’s Mighty Mic, an annual 9-day event promoting human rights awareness. The shirt features a spin off of Twelve Bar’s signature heart logo filled with images of children of Darfur. It wil
l be sold at bookstores around campus and at Mighty Mic’s benefit concert headlined by Ok Go, Zion 1, and other bands. All of the proceeds will benefit displaced children affected by Darfur’s military conflict. This is definitely a t-shirt I will happily wear.
