Molly painted her nails yellow in the fashion closet.
We’re sort of in love with it, especially because it coordinates in a Kool-Aid kinda way with her pink blouse.
The color she used is from OPI, and although we love that polish, it’s a little expensive, so we went hunting for super cheap yellow nail polish at CVS.
You know what we found?
NOTHING. No Wet ‘n Wild yellow polish; no New York Look yellow polish.
If you know where to buy it cheap, tell us here.
In the meantime, you can either pay up or try what we did: White polish with yellow food coloring. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty easy…

i bought a color like that from target. it’s “taxi cab creme” or something like that by n.y.c. i’m pretty sure it was about $1. perfect for me since i have lvery ittle cash moneymoney.

I think I saw that type of color at Claire’s for around $3-$5…Hope that helps!

target or even walmart has nyc, they have every color and there like 94 cents.

Essie’s color is called Shorty Pants, its number 654. Its selling out here in Chicago, I just got the last bottle at my manicurist’s for touch ups to my pedi. Its $8. Love having bright yellow toes.
People stopped me and complimented me on my pedicure over the weekend.

Um, I don’t recall how much they were but when I was in NYC I bought some awesome nail polish from Ricky’s, and they must have been pretty cheap for me to have bought them. I think the brand was Mattesse NYC or something along those lines, they are great quality for the price. And to reply to Yvonne’s response they do carry them at Clarie’s but they are CRAP in quality, I wouldn’t suggest buying them as I have the green one and it chips SO fast!

Zoya is the best polish. Their yellow came out before OPI’s.
It beats Chanel Sunrise.

i have the nyc polish too is called taxi yellow creme and i love it i get so many comments on it i got mine from this salvage store for 50 cents!!
