Hey dudes! The new trailer for New York, I Love You is making its rounds in the blogosphere and it looks stellar. The film comes from the same producer who did Paris, je t’aime, and following the same formula, the movie is comprised of vignettes each told by a different notable director.

New York, I Love You has an overwhelming cast of both young and old Hollywood and it drips with talent overload. So exciting!! Still claimed to be in “post-production,” the flick is slated to release Valentine’s Day Eve, February 13, 2009. Perfect.

Click to check out the trailer and watch out for Mischa Barton, Hayden Christensen, Olivia Thirlby, Natalie Portman, Shia LaBeouf, Ethan Hawke, Christina Ricci, and tons others, while they traipse around this magical city under the looming sweet sounds of Mika, Regina Spektor, and Feist.

MAC’s just-released Cult of Cherry collection:

A) Is full of deep reds and dark  purple lip colors.

B) Includes a quad with fall’s big eye color, yellow.

C) Features Erin Fetherston in its promo video.

D) All of the above.

And the correct answer is…D. The Berkeley grad took a break from her spring 2009 collection to play a–surprise!–fashion designer in the short film. Maybe Kirsten Dunst taught her a thing or two about working it in front of the camera.

Bonus points if you can name the guy playing the interior decorator (hint: it’s his actual day job).

Last week, my favorite store in LA, Scout, threw a party in the store to celebrate their new merchandise’s arrival. As usual, everything was amazing.

Joey, Scout’s owner/buyer has the most amazing eye and taste. I would say he is one of the best at making fashion, a work of art.

I don’t think I have ever seen one piece in the store that isn’t magical, special, unique, and worth buying.

Get psyched… 

I love Karl Lagerfeld because I often think he’s out to amuse himself, rather than be taken so seriously.

Case in point: the Karl Lagerfeld teddy bear!

Produced by German company Steiff Bears, the teddy is completely outfitted in the Chanel head designer’s trademark tailored suit, and mimics the stoic stare behind the unmistakeble dark shades.

Of course, this is not another stuffed toy…. only 2,500 of these guys will be available for purchase at Neiman Marucs next month for a not-so-soft price at $1,500.
