  We’re all about organic stuff that doesn’t look organic (read: Earth mother, camp counselor, or strictly granola diet), so when Riot Tuxedo sent us some shirts yesterday, we were duly impressed.

The tees had great graphics on the front, and felt really, really soft -

Exactly the type of thing we’d want to wear underneath a blazer this Fall, or on top of a jacquard skirt right now.

The shirts sell for $37 each and are available in men’s and women’s cuts.

As for the slightly scary graphics that advertise them on their website…

Well, we’ve tried the shirts on, and we promise our face hasn’t fallen apart from the impact of the so-cool-you’ll-hate-yourself style.

Electremo, noun.

Eee -lect- TREE-mow.

A cross between electro rock and emo music, now emerging in bands like Metro Station, Play Radio Play, and Plushgun (left).

IE:

“I wonder if those electremo bands will start wearing silver eyeliner to differentiate themselves from Pete Wentz and My Chemical Romance.”

But we hope they don’t actually do that… xo faran.

Theater freaks (and real freaks) rejoice!

Tulle’s ‘60s style tops, dresses, and jackets? All cute. The hairstyles the models in the fall lookbook are sporting? Even cuter.

Think Brigitte Bardot meets Yulia Tymoshenko (or Mary-Kate Olsen if she stuck her finger in a socket while wearing those head-wrapping braids a while back). It’s sweet, in a Lolita way, and just messy enough to not look too structured.

Basically, everything a good hairstyle should be. I’d have braids wrapped around my head if only my bobbed ‘do were a bit longer… (more…)

There’s a tiny little line coming out of London, and it’s called Jo-leene.

We’re especially crazy about their flapper dress at left, and a series of insane calico high waisted skirts and leotards that you’ll see below.

The range isn’t quite broad enough to show it on NYLON’s main site, but if they keep this up, it soon will be.

Or, in the words of our favorite movie, Clueless:

“Oh, swoon.”
