Lolcats Are So Indie Rock

A few weeks ago, I got an email imploring me to check out the band The Knees.

They’re like Weezer fronted by Liz Phair!

They’ve got a CD selling for $1,609!

They sing deadbeat dude lyrics!

But really, the publicist explained, I had to check out their video for “Sick of Being Stoned”. And I did. And it’s hilarious–especially if you like lolcats, videos of cute animals, or sing-along songs. You can watch it here. And download the single for free here.
