As you probably know, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie started a children’s charity in honor of their daughter, Harlow.
This Christmas, they’re asking everyone to donate the same amount of money that they’d normally spend on a fruitcake.
The logic is that you never use a fruitcake, but kids could really use the money you would spend on it to make their lives better.
