On The Dots
A quick glance at Style.com reveals the Balenciaga runway had all its girls in dotted swiss stockings.
The same thing happened at Ruffian, at Erin Fetherston, and at Luella, making dotted swiss stockings officially… yes… a trend.
I find Target to be the unsung hero of tights, but if you can’t find them there (and won’t spend $100 + on the designer versions that come out in August), here’s a suggestion:
Head over to the burlesque website Secrets in Lace, and buy yourself a pair there.
They’re $20, and come as thigh highs, which means you can wear them with maximum comfort under a pair of short-shorts or even loose boyfriend jeans cuffed at the shin.
You can also wear them with a curtained silk Alexander Wang skirt from last year, which looks enough like the Balenciaga skirt at left to leave everybody quite impressed.
