For the past few months, the denim outfitter has been crossing the globe (well, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, London, and now New York) selling one-of-a-kind jeans in temporary shops. Each spot gets 50 jeans, covered in hand-sewn patches and strategic tears. While they’re numbered like works of art (NY is getting #201 through 250), they’re not priced like art – each pair is selling for $70.
The NY spot is officially open for business today at 237 Lafayette St., and while future dates have yet to be announced, the label is pretty certain that the tour isn’t stopping just yet.
