This Balmain jacket went onsale yesterday at Net-a-Porter.

With taxes and shipping, it’s about $6000.

And it’s already sold out.

So your options:

1.  Get the Phillip Lim version for about $500.

2.  Wait until J. Crew knocks it off.

3.  Raid the wardrobe closet of Drumline.

4.  As usual, it’s all about vintage, and eBay.

(you could also roll your eyes and say, “Oh my gosh, I saw that on The Sartorialist, like, last year,” but you might have to practice your delivery in the mirror a few times before you sound like you mean it).

    Or else get a job at DHL and nick all the jackets being shipped out to the Saudi princesses and busy business women who are buying them on Net-a-Porter! ;-)

    Since 1970′s when he first set up his business in London, the man has single handedly sketched his shoes and sculpted the heels for every single pair of the famous Manolo Blahnik shoes, strappy sandals, etc.
