As an owner of the Pierre Hardy for Gap heels, I can vouch for the following things:

1. They look amazing with just about everything.

2. They are easy to walk in.

3. They are not easy to run in, or speedily descend stairs in, or jump up and down at a concert in, or walk across cobblestones in.

But that’s alright.  For just as Gap unveils their second collection of PH shoes (this time in a deep forest green, at left), they’ve also got a new partnership with Havaianas, where you can buy lots of cute colors in the store or online.  That means, you can wear the heels, and then, in case of emergency, whip out the Havaianas (which fold pretty well into a normal-sized bag), and go.

And if you’re like me, you’re always on the go.  xo faran
