Well Suited?

The Marc by Marc Jacobs swimsuit collection is out and…

Well, see for yourself.

There are ruffles.

There are cut-outs.

There are kissing fish.

There are bows, buckles, and even “Miss Marc” rocking a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses.

But unlike a dress, where if it doesn’t fit just right you can belt it, pair it with a jacket, or throw it over a pair of leggings, a swimsuit isn’t quite as forgiving. And I can’t help but wonder if any of these suits would actually look good on anyone other than a rail-thin model.

This tote, on the other hand, could fit a copy of NYLON, a trashy beach book, and a few Coronas inside, no sweat… xxRebecca

    i always love the marc swimsuits. i have a red floral bikini from last year and it looks amazing! but i have to admit that the top is pretty tiny, even for my barely As. so i agree that i’m not sure how flattering these would be on most women.

    His bikini tops are pretty itty bitty but if you’re into that look, they’re great. But that one piece pictured above looks as though it would only work on an extremely thin girl. Still love the suit though!

    All the ruffle ones would be unflattering on anyone that isn’t stick thin. I’m in love with the black and white, buckle bathing suit though.
