Last night, Ben Sherman hosted the British band Littl’Ans in their Soho store for a concert.
You may remember the LA’s from ’05, when Pete Doherty had them opening for Babyshambles, 0r from ’07, when Hedi Slimane adopted them as his house band for Dior Homme and their singer / tambourine man Ronnie Joyce read poetry onstage before each show.
Now things are a little different. Joyce now fronts No Picasso (along with former bandmate Ben Hutchinson), while The Littl’Ans are back with a new album, new songs, and – surprise – a kick. As in, drums. As in, bass. As in, jump around until you fall over rock ‘n roll.
Which is pretty much what I did, but not before I took some photos of the band and their fans (like Ben Sherman’s Dana Dynamite, at left).
I mean, after all, these guys are cute.
