That orange spotted Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop dress I was obsessing over earlier this week?

Yeah, glad I didn’t get it.

Not just because it’s insanely short (seriously, I get we’re in a bit of recession, but there’s no need to be thirfty over a few inches of fabric). But because I would have showed up to the Belvedere Black Raspberry launch party in the exact same dress as DJ (and NYLON It Girl) Harley Viera-Newton. Quel horror!

I might be the only one with that fear, since the dress is already sold out on Topshop’s website. Apparently there are worse indignities than someone wearing the same outfit as you…

    also, it’s not that great. i think people just obsess over it because it’s part of a capsule collection for top shop. you don’t have to love EVERYTHING they sell.
