Israel Makes The White House Pretty

NYLON beauty director Holly Siegel sent us a screen shot from NBC’s documentary Inside the Obama White House.

It shows Michelle Obama’s assistant hard at work, with a container of AHAVA lotion on her desk.

AHAVA is imported from Israel, where it’s their equivalent of Jergens or Vaseline. And Holly’s convinced the lotion’s a sign from Obama, subliminally showing support for the Israeli nation.

Okay, we’ll buy that.

But all politics aside, maybe Obama and his staff are just using common sense.

After all, Israel is the country that produced Natalie Portman, Bar Rafaeli, and Esti Ginzburg. So surely in the beauty department, they know what they’re doing.
