Elementary, My Dear Watson
Emma Watson is the new face of Burberry, and her Fall ’09 images have been released today.
Besides featuring a killer trench coat (a tradition in Burberry campaigns), the photos show Emma, now 19, with a sharp blowout, nude lipstick, and a very cool smoky eye.
It’s just what we’d expect from Burberry, who’ve managed to combine their classic, traditional clothing with a cooler edge in recent years, thanks to designer Christopher Bailey (yes, this is a plug for our NYLON TV episode with him!).
Emma follows in the footsteps of Burberry models like Agyness Deyn, Gemma Ward, Kate Moss, Lily Donaldson, Will Blondelle, Daisy Lowe, and our very own Patrick Wolf.

I think its an amazing idea for Emma to be part of the fall 09 campaing she has it all , the british look the beauty and the edgyness for burberry , i love her and i think its a great idea for burberry to feature such gorgeous girl in their campaign i love it!

killer trench coats, indeed. but she is not the best choice, she is a beautiful girl but not a great model- think she lacks the depth in her expressions.
