“Dear Faran,

Hello from Hong Kong!

I was in Luen Wo Hui in Fanling District, Hong Kong, with friends when we came across this piece of art at the corner of the district’s run-down theatre.

Although the theatre’s appearance is a blast-into-the-past and nostalgic, this was a interesting new find.

The three Chinese characters on it say “Fanling Theatre.”

    I was in Hong Kong two years ago and saw this anime wall in an alley. It was so beautiful but you needed a flashlight to see all the colors because the alley was so narrow. This makes me wish I’d photographed it.
