Dig This
With SNL clips (“Biiiiitch! Please!”) and full episodes of favorite TV shows like Fringe, the joys of Hulu keep growing.
And now there’s something in their movie section to lure even more viewers:
This month, Hulu streams the controversial (and riveting) rock documentary DIG! Featuring seven years of footage from The Dandy Warhols and Brian Jonestown Massacre, the film purports to show the real story of a bloody feud between Dandy singer Courtney Taylor (left) and Jonestown founder Anton Newcombe.
Is it a true account, or a total manipulation? That’s been questioned by many, from the band members featured to other music writers and film makers. Watch the documentary yourself and then decide at Hulu.com/Dig

I just came across it the other day on hulu. i watched it a year ago and thought it was strangely engaging. Anton Newcombe is insane but he does make pretty damn good music. Not to mention Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Peter Hayes was in Jonestown and i do believe Robert Turner was in it for a minute too!

I met Anton in the Library Bar on the LES last summer. He was wild eyed, dranking and totally raaaaaad. I can’t imagine Courtney Taylor ever, EVER hanging with the pleebs in a dive bar.
