The Ionic Woman



Last night, Ion Studio in Soho held a different type of salon party.

They filled their sinks with ice, asked hairstylists to be bartenders, and hosted a favorite New York band, The Young Lords, in their space.

Ion also hung work by Olympia Dior and Cinik, curated by Natia Dune (left).

We went undercover* for some vodka shots and photographs, check them out below.

*undercover = hair in a ponytail, which almost never happens in faran-land.  Anyway…
