Blown Away
Though even the most hardened hipster couldn’t help but stare at Beyonce and Jay-Z as they danced to Grizzly Bear at yesterday’s Jelly NYC show in Brooklyn, Beach House’s Victoria Legrand won my vote for best dressed.
The Baltimore-based singer/keyboardist braved the end-of-summer heat in a polka dot blazer and purple-tinged lipstick.
But that wasn’t all – she tucked her long, tousled hair to the side, keeping it in place with just one oversized barrette. It was subtle, it was chic, and it was the perfect way to handle the sun and the wind while playing to thousands of screaming fans.
Sasha Fierce might not approve, but we think even Beyonce would have to give her nod of approval.
