True Love 10: “Teacup Humans!”
We regret to inform you that this was our least favorite True Blood episode, mostly because we’re so over this whole zombie subplot. So over it, in fact, that we almost skipped the episode in favor of this NYLON TV episode with a cameo by Eric. Yeah, you heard right.
And yet, there were quite a few redeeming moments – and with them, some very profound questions! Questions like…
*Is Evan Rachel Wood channeling Lindsay Lohan in her performance as the Vampire Queen? And why is she so… la-di-da?
*What will The Queen tell Eric that she hasn’t told Bill?
*Why is she The Queen and Eric’s just a sheriff if they’re about the same age? (Book People, don’t answer that!)
*Who will be Marianne’s “vessel”?
*Can Jason Stackhouse actually <i>do</i> anything about this whole mess?
*And finally, this isn’t really about the episode, but why is Sookie “special” and Jason “normal”?
Discuss. And root with me that the season finale will end all zombie nonsense for good!

I liked this Ep. Im Kinda more upset about the Finall Ep. is in 2week, 14 day,1500 hours,9000 min, 5400000 sec thats alot time! But i think Lindsay Lohan should have Played the Queen!! but i still Evan Did a damn Good Job. Im Still upset with Tara-Maes , Latty-Mae She let Tara Fuck wit her head and tara Ends up still becoming a ZOMBIE and then LAFAYETTE OMG the got hom to!! WHAT IS that POWER SOOKIE USED?????????????????????

This episode was rather camp (more than usual) and a bit of let down.
- What the hell was with the Queen? I just DIDN’T get a good grasp of why she is in charge (and I’m not a fan of Evan Rachel Wood) I love the setting and I love her style but her rambled speeches where she casually makes reference to the Eisenhower administration etc. just felt rushed and without much depth.
- Bill needs to pull some weight (I just feel he is everyone’s *ahem* bitch) and I was happy that he finally had something on Eric at the end.
- Sam + the kids was a nice way of expanding the story to include Eric. I like Sam, I feel sorry for the underdog (no pun intended) and I have to say, Jason + Andy’s random musings about Sam’s shifting abilities were very funny.
- I’m going to cap off my thoughts of the episode with this: ERIC FLEW!! That was the only part of the episode that sent me into howls of laughter + delight. “Mini-humans” Way to make ‘em sound like Pizza Bites, Eric. (nice suit btw!)

Yeah I agree last nights episode was just rehasing what we already saw last week. I think Marianne is going to try Sookie as a vessel since we now know that the vessal has to be “extra” or of both worlds. I did like how they brought it back to Tara actually being the one that summone Marianne, but other than that it was blah! I really wish they would have done more with the Eric/Sookie/Layfette subplot

i was a little disappointed that Evan Rachel Wood was like, blah acting skill wise. she had some funny lines though and she does seem to fit the Queen’s persona. a bit.
LOVED touseled hair Eric after flying and that they’ve finally shown us he can fly! creepy drooling over the kids though …
so um, Bill *knows* Sookie’s cousin is around? and hasn’t said a word to Sookie? obviously he wasn’t surprised when she asked how her cousin was. so he’s known all along? grrr Bill. Bill pisses me off.
and hooray for Eric calling Bill out on his bullsh*t “you might be, um, er, attracted to Eric. because of the blood.” and i’m sorry, how quickly did YOU give her YOUR blood?? YEAH!! stupid bill. (his hair looked better this episode though. good for them for trimming his bangs.)
Hoyt is a DOLL and his mother is EVIL!!! i hope he forgives Jessica and recognizes how evil his momma is. ew.
MaryAnn is going DOOWWWWNN. so sick of her.
POOR Lafayette! he’s going to be PTSDing all over that kitchen right along with Terry when this is all over.

I have to agree with HotScot the “mini-humans” and Eric flying sent me into a laughing fit as well. It was rather random(the flying) but it was a good random. Also Jason + Andy’s questions about Sam’s ability were funny too. Especially the chicken one!!!

I’ve loved True Blood ever since SDCC ’08. But puhhhhhhhlease. Enough already… let’s get ON with it already. I don’t know, unless these next eps are awesome, don’t think I’ll bother next season. It’s getting soooooooooo boring.

just seems there are to many sub-plots and fillers in the resent episodes, we don’t seem to be moving forward with the storyline! it’s like, yeah we get it, it’s a town full of zombies and the devil or whatever is going to decend.. so DECEND ALLREADY! gah and I can’t stand the jason+andy shit, comic relif is so done. and stop showing the fat, middleage girls and guys naked and give us naked eric, or atleast naked jason, now plz?
but kidding aside, boring episode. and I belive sookie is the vessel…
BTW; am I the only one wondering about the EGG?? WTF?? if anyone knows about the egg, plz post a comment on my blog.

The best suggestion I can give to some of these questions is to read the books.
There is a reason that Hadley ( Sookie’s cousin ), Bill and the Queen know one another, and there is a reason that Bill has never mentioned it. If the show sticks to the books, which it will have to or else it will completely re-write the series, you’ll find out in Season three.
This episode did suck. It pretty well had to. I said to my dad ( 60 year old whom stays the weekend to watch it with me lol ), that this episode had to be about figuring out how to deal with Maryanne, and the season finale would be them trying to finish her but leaving a big season finale cliffhanger…

I’m wondering about that egg at the end too. I don’t have any idea wtf is up with that. I’m kind of glad bill is black-mailing eric. finally something eric is going to have to watch himself for. and i think the vessel might be jason and that he might have something special to him but he just never gave any effort because he’s been to busy being an idiot. im excited for the finale though even though this episode was a bit slow it should be pretty awesome

BTW I’m SO OVER this whole maenad subplot. I have NO IDEA why they picked this subplot from the book to totally BLOW UP into the show. SERIOUSLY. GAH. Thank the cable gods for DVR and HBO on Demand so I can fast forward all of that crap and get to the good stuff. I’m so over Marianne. And Tara is SO frustrating.
And I agree, Marianne is TOTALLY going to ditch boring shifter Sam and go for Sook as the vessel. She was in the same wedding dress-esque outfit and is totally something intriguing to her and different that she would so go for.

this is the second week that the “book people” remarks have made me lolz. i LOVE the books and have read all that are out so far. i wish the show hadn’t jumped off the deep end.
