Absolut Nylon

When we first heard that Absolut was launching a new limited edition flavor inspired by Boston, we wondered what it would taste like.

Baked beans?

 Cranberries?

 Clam chowd-ah?

Turns out, it’s something even better: black tea and elderflower.

We found this out first hand when Absolut Boston invaded the NYLON office for a Thursday evening cocktail party.

Boston Blackberry martinis and Beantown Mules were the drinks of the hour, and though we couldn’t invite you all over to try it out, it’s pretty easy to make it at home - especially since we swiped their recipe card…xxRebecca

If you are too, ahem, lazy to mix up one of these drinks, Absolut mixologist Jamie Gordon recommends ginger ale spiked with Absolut Boston. But don’t be lazy about picking up a bottle - they’re very limited edition, and will probably sell out by the time the Red Sox come back from behind to win the World Series later this year.

Absolut Boston Blackberry:

2 parts Absolut Boston

3/4 part lemon juice

1/2 part agave nectar

2 dashes rhubarb bitters

2 large blackberries

Muddle blackberries and agave nectar in a mixing glass, add all ingredients and shake well. Double strain into chilled martini glass.

Absolut Beantown Mule:

2 parts Absolut Boston

1 part white grape juice

3 parts ginger beer

1 lime squeeze

Build over rocks in a highball, stir and serve.
