Though the inspiration at last night’s Proenza Schouler show included surfers, skateboarders, and eccentrics, we’ve got a feeling that the NYLON team is behind part of the beauty look.

A few weeks ago, NYLON’s Beauty Director Holly Siegel added baby blue and cotton candy pink streaks to her hair.

Soon after, NYLON’s Style Director Dani Stahl dyed the tips of her locks Smurf blue.

And yesterday, Didier Malige for Frederic Fekkai broke up the loose, tousled surf-inspired waves with a bit of cerulean and lilac hair dye.

Although only two girls got a shot of color (and it didn’t last for long – right after the show they whisked them to the nearest Fekkai salon to return to their original blonde shade), it was all anyone could talk about today.

Does this mean Manic Panic sales are about to skyrocket?
