There’s been a lot of structure this season in dresses -
Remember the giant shoulders at Wang and the to-the-floor ripples at Marc and Preen?
But Francisco Costa has something a little different going on at Calvin Klein and it goes something like this:
Take a basic dress shape – a shift, a minidress, a long gown – then change the fabric so the textures and colors seem to split and spread apart.
That keeps the line of your body in check, while taking the idea of your outfit into a million different directions -
Something very cool and very smart all at once.
