Best Rumor Ever: Solange + Of Montreal?!



Overheard at a fashion dinner last night:

Solange Knowles was chatting with a certain publicist this weekend during a showing of The September Issue.

Besides being super-nice and super-cute (which we already knew, having met her last year at the Nike Soho party), she also mentioned a new project -

Some sort of collaboration with Of Montreal.

Will the ultra-cool indie band help produce her next album?

Or will they just all sport glitter t-shirts together?!

We can’t wait to find out…

    They preformed together at Terminal 5 and it was awesome. Can’t wait for what they are thinkin!

    Talked with my boy Jason, who oversees the sweet video shoots for Of Montreal, and he totally confirmed this rumor!

    He got to chat some last week with Solange whilst in NYC for Of Montreal and MGMTs gig. This is gonna be one heck of a collaboration though :)

    I hope not. They’re amazing! Her, well, not so much. I would much rather finally hear something from Blik Fang (the band Kevin Barnes and Andrew VanWyngarden have together). Now that would be awesome!
