We’re at that point in September when it’s not quite fall but not still summer.

Call it “faller” or “summumn”, but striking a wardrobe balance can have its pitfalls (think heavy jacket when its sunny and 80 degrees or sandals when its windy and 50).

Which might explain why we’re obsessed with Ashley Madekwe’s outfit at the Nintendo DSI Studio last week.

Two points for summer (denim shorts and printed crop top) and two points for fall (nubby socks and lace-up boots).

Maybe she grabbed it from the wardrobe department for her new TV series, The Beautiful Life?
