Fun fact: In the UK, guitar pics are called “plectrums.”

And why do you need to know this?

Because Ben Sherman got about a hundred bands to sign and donate their plectrums for an auction that starts really soon.

Proceeds go to the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy program, or to a school in Singapore, and there are tons of cool musicians – like The Maccabes, Silversun Pickups, and Ryan Adams, whose pick is at left – to choose from.

    i live in the uk, used to play guitar and work with bands.
    we neverrr say plectrum. only 60 year old men in cover bands use the word plectrum.

    but it kinda weirdly cute to repeat the word fastly
