At the Balenciaga spring ’09 show, the models walked down the runway with a streak of black eyeshadow stretching from their lids to their hair line.

It’s a look that we might not recommend in real life, if it weren’t for Kristen Wiig.

The SNL star rocks the exact same look as Maggie Mayhem in Whip It, using heavy liner as war paint when she’s on the roller derby rink.

Which begs the question: Did Nicolas Ghesquière get a sneak peek of Drew Barrymore’s film before it came out?
