With the success of LolCats and other cute fuzzy animal websites, there seems to be a growing demand to import some of their content into real life.

Maybe that explains the current trend in pets, micro-pigs.

Not to be confused with Guinea Pigs or Potbellied Pigs, micro-pigs are sort of like teacup chihuahuas -

They’re anatomically the same as “normal” barnyard pigs, but teeny.

Currently, the pigs are popular in the Spain, Russia, Australia, and the UK, where Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint just bought one instead of a dog.

Will they gain the same kind of popularity over here?
