They’ve Got The Beat, Pt. 3
Apache Beat, blogging for NYLON from the road, says “hi” and wants to steal your limo…
We are on the final leg of our East Coast tour with Gossip.
From Philly, we made our way back to New York to the “bigger than I actually thought it was” Terminal 5. It was great fun, possibly one of the best shows we’ve played this year.
Loads of friends showed up, and it’s always nice playing at home.

MEN and Gossip were awesome (again).
The crowd lost their minds at “Standing in the Way of Control”, and it was cool seeing 3,000 people enjoying themeselves.

This is one of the outfits I mentioned in a previous blog entry. I got a load of compliments, which was very sweet.
After the show, we chilled backstage a bit (mainly eating pizza and chatting) and then a group of us headed over with Nathan to go to a party he was DJing with Greg K (Misshapes). Somehow by the time we had left, a limo had appeared out of nowhere outside and we decided to get in solely because we thought it was hilarious.
We drove to Sia’s house party / after-party, which was really only five blocks away, but being in a limo, it took ages, and we spent the time well… dancing. I left my jacket in this limo, which really bummed me out. But whatever. The party must go on.

Nathan and I dancing to something (no idea what it was).
Our last show was in Boston, and the Gossip and Apache Beat had enough time to go thrift shopping before sound check. I bought a ridiculously massive sweater in 500 colors for $4.39. I came back to find JD spent her time working on her outfit, which we were originally called the “house music” dress. But I noted she had now added flames, and I had to re-christian it the “Burning Down The House” music dress.

Our shows were crazy fun and everyone should catch Gossip on the rest of their North American tour.
Apache Beat’s next shows are next week for CMJ.
See you all then!!
