American girls love Rimmel London, but even though the brand loves us back, it’s been pretty strict with their ads so far:

All Rimmel girls must be residents of the UK, and that certainly includes their famous faces Kate Moss, Lily Cole, and Sophie Ellis Bextor.

We have no complaints about their choices so far – between Kate’s style, Lily’s poise, and Sophie’s penchant for fun disco hits, we’ve pretty much found our dream girls.

But this season, for the first time ever, Rimmel announces a fellow North American to join the Brit pack. She’s Coco Rocha, an ’08 NYLON It Girl whose dual passions are catwalks and Irish dancing.

Hailing from Canada, Coco will start appearing in ads by 2010, and we’re so excited!
