The Converse Tour of the Chelsea Hotel
When Converse invited us to go check out their Spring 2010 collection inside New York’s legendary Chelsea Hotel, we figured, “Cool, we’ll go, check out everything in one room, and leave.”
Uh, no.
In fact, the Converse appointment turned out to be a scavenger hunt that sent us through famous apartments (like Janis Joplin’s), working designer showrooms (thanks, Zaldy!), and four different floors.
Below, some of the things we discovered…
(sneaker fiends, you’ll really want to click though)

Converse eyewear!

Cool transparent soles.

New footwear from The Clash to celebrate their “London Calling” album

The Clash shoe

Did you know John Varvatos for Converse shoes come with pre-scuffed tops? We didn’t either, but look!

Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It?s the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks??
