I Wanna Be Sedated
When I finally decided to turn my ’20s bob into a ’60s mop, my first thought was make my hair look like Lou’s.
(Apparently I’m not the only person inspired by her.)
But then I got it cut, and it reminded me of someone else: Dee Dee Ramone.
This tee from Blood Is The New Black exemplifies why.
Despite that whole rap thing, Dee Dee was smarter than he came off — all the way up to his head of killer hair.
Sure, he contributed his songwriting talents to such classics as “Chinese Rocks”, but his ultimate accomplishment just might be making the short shag look effortlessly cool.
Okay, just kidding, “Rockaway Beach” is his ultimate accomplishment. But the hair’s a close second… xxRebecca
