J. Crew would you like to know that its new magic wallets were invented by French wait staff in the 1920s who needed a quick place to stash tips and receipts.

We would like you to know that though it’s not convenient for holding everything – especially in the season of holiday bonuses and gift cards – it’s damn cute.

The wallet comes in three metallic colors, including gold, silver, and this confetti design at left.
