Mario Brothers Returns!
We just got a fun press release proclaiming the return of Mario Brothers.
Although Mario Cart, Doctor Mario, and various original editions of MB are still alive and well, Nintendo’s come up with another version that – they claim – is even better.
According to the Nintendo robots, the new Mario is “a simultaneous multiplayer Super Mario Bros. game. Players can navigate the side-scrolling worlds alone as before or invite up to three others to join them at the same time on the same level at any point in the game for competitive and cooperative multiplayer fun.”
Cooperative?! Who wants Nintendo to be cooperative?
Last time I checked, the best part of Mario Brothers, Mario Cart, or any Mario game was shutting your little brother out of the game with deft and ruthless turtle-killing skills.
The new game comes out on November 14. Fight the power, and make sure when you play, you clobber your competition!
