Your Vegas
If Las Vegas ever has to surrender its gambling license, it could probably become Hollywood No. 2 -
Besides the weakly sweet rom-com What Happens in Vegas (sorry Ashton and Cameron, but whoa), there’s been the Academy Award winning Casino, the actually-not-bad-at-all NBC drama Las Vegas, an episode of The OC filmed on location at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, the crappiest Real World cast ever (except maybe Miami…), the Katy Perry video Waking Up in Vegas, and four movies spawned from Ocean’s Eleven – including the original with Frank Sinatra.
But for those who like their movies smart, messed up, and sometimes impossible to understand, the classic Vegas flick will always be Fear and Loathing, which chases Hunter S. Thompson (played almost too good to be true by Johnny Depp) across the small strip of lucky desert. It’s funny, sharp, cool, and available now, for free, on Hulu.
Bonus points if you can spot both Christina Ricci and Cameron Diaz in guest roles.

This movie is so twisted its delicious. Benicio del Toro is the cool whip in this movie. He tops it off with his ingenious, sometimes disturbing portrayal of Dr. Gonzo. GO.WATCH.NOW.

fear and loathing is such a rad movie, its ingenious. The book is even better. It’s such a raw, trippy, insight into Dr. Gonzo’s life.
