How much would you pay to see your favorite band perform?

That’s the question I was left pondering while in Miami for the Diesel:U:Music show.

As the Diesel crew explained to me, every time they throw a party, tickets inevitably end up on Craigslist.

Which is fine, except that tickets are free (provided you can swing by a Diesel store before they’re all gone).

So people are spending up to $500 to see musicians like MIA, Lykke Li, and Jemina Pearl perform when they don’t have to.

It got me thinking about how much I would realistically spend to see a band. My max is probably around $50 (unless John and George came back from the dead and reunited the Beatles). What’s yours? xxRebecca
