Good Idea or Bad Idea: Sequin Converse?

It’s holiday time, which means everything will suddenly come with glitter, metallic beads, or sequins.
That even includes sneakers, like the new Converse low-tops on the left.
You can buy them at Free People for $98, but that’s assuming you would buy them at all.
Which brings us to the Monday Morning question -

Very good idea for young girls if they can combine them with the right things to create an awesome look! Bad idea if theyare badly combined: they can be very dull…

Always a good idea. I own them in pink and I want the animal print sequin pair on Shoes.com. So cute and festive, I just did a post about them last week.

I think they’re a great idea! They look awesome! Only thing though, they’re very expensive so I wouldn’t buy them unless they were much cheaper. But yeah. They’re really cool!

Great! Combined with black skinny jeans and white tanktop.
Love em. They also have them in the colors red , white and black.

Good idea but 2 be worn sparingly so the sequins stay in tact. Are there animal print or stripes available?

I agree that they are a good idea but only if worn the right way. They definitely aren’t an every day wear sort of item.
