Rajni Is Our American Idol

Last night was the debut of a hot new band, The Babysitters.

Comprised of Teen Vogue‘s Andrew Bevan and NYLON‘s own fashion news editor, Rajni Jacques, the duo took over Billy Reid’s cozy Bowery boutique to belt out a rendition of “Last Christmas (I Gave You My Heart)” by WHAM!

Frankly, we were all blown away.

Rajni and Andrew are kickass magazine editors, but if they ever decide to moonlight, we think it should be onstage with Simon, Randy, and Paula…

Or whoever the new judge is now.
