Where’s the Best Pizza?

Everyone at NYLON has pizza cravings at least once a week.

It’s so bad, we know every pizza place in Soho NY, plus favorite joints in Paris, London, Los Angeles, and Miami (the four cities we travel to most often for work).

But we know there are other pizza places out there, and that’s where you come in:

Tell us about them.

Where they are, what’s their specialty, how long do you have to wait, etc.

I enjoyed Belmora Pizza in NYC because of how fast they are. Delicious, as well. (http://tinyurl.com/y983qzw) Then there’s Zucca in Georgia with their fun atmosphere and vast array of topping choices. (http://www.zuccapizza.com)

    Pizza Express, South Bank, London

Interior is all very contemporary, in a good way. Fast service, you can actually see them making it. It takes about 15-20 minutes to make and bake the pizza because they make it when you order not before hand. It is defiantly worth the wait, you can order it exactly how you want it, deep pan, thin, whatever if you want to change somethings you can. Theres also a good drinks list and pudding list as well and great customer service. Its also in a good location, right next to the globe theater across the river from central London and 5 minute walk from the nearest train station.

I recommend this pizza restaurant to all my friends. 10/10

Hound dogs pizza on campus in columbus, ohio. Everyone here wil agree their smoking joes garlic buttery pizza crust is unbeatable. Plus they have a cool punk rock decorated pizza shop. And they’re open 24 hrs a day! They also have a killer bar. Pizza, and a drink in a cool setting, get any better? Don’t think so!

  10. Sahra Says:

Star Pizza in Houston, TX is AMAZING. They have New York and Chicago style pizza, so there’s something for everyone. You have to wait while for the pizza (they make it to order), but it’s so worth it. I would recommend the Starburst or Ben’s pizza for sure. Go there!

  11. Carly Says:

Casa Bianca in Eagle Rock! (Just North East of Los Angeles.) I am a fan of plain cheese pizza, and theirs is by far the best I have ever tasted. The thin crust is perfect, and the tomato sauce has so much flavor. The place is usually quite busy, however, but it’s worth the wait!

  21. AC Says:

American Flatbread pizza in Waitsfield, Vermont… all organic locally grown fresh ingredients and you eat it in a huge barn that’s heated w/ the oven! It’s really hippie dippy and they don’t serve anything chain (no coke/pepsi). They also sell it frozen at whole foods and mrs. greens where it still tastes good (esp. sundried tomato and mushroom).

  22. Marina Says:

Pizza Pete’s 86th and collumbus looks really sketchy, and it’s nothing special in term of a social scene but it is absolutely the greatest pizza around!

Pizzacato in Portland, Oregon is where it’s at!

  27. Jocelyn Says:

Upper Crust. They have locations in and around Boston, and one in Key West. The pizza’s AMAZING- really thin crust with whole chunks of tomato… mmmm. Everyone I know is obsessed with it- every other place now feels mediocre. I used to live in an apartment building above one of the restaurants and every time I walked into my building I would smell the pizza and get hungry. Their shops are also really cool looking, with pizza tins for ceilings and stuff. Best ever.

Pizza by Elizabeths’s in Greenville, Delaware. One of the best restaurants around with an old Hollywood/Marie Antoinette atmosphere. You can get these perfect personal custom pizzas with unusual toppings like mushroom duxelles sauce, beef filet strips, artichoke hearts, and about 15 different cheeses to choose from. Lovely.
