Underrated: Target Swimsuits

Last night at an uptown party, we bumped into a Dior model.
“I’m going to Corsica for vacation,” she said.
“How fabulous,” we replied.
“I just bought these new Louboutin wedges for the beach,” she continued.
“How insane,” we mused.
“And the cutest swimsuit from Target!” she exclaimed.
“How true!” we agreed.
Because it’s a well-kept secret that Target swimsuits are kind of amazing. They’re affordable. They fit all body types. They’re available in fun prints (see Liberty of London’s version for Target, at left). And they last forever (we’re still prancing around the pool in our Luella for Target bikini, circa 2007).

I absolutely agree. Target sells some wickedly designed bathing suits. One year, they were selling a black bikini with rainbow-colored lightning bolts – waited to long to buy and I lost it… darn it.
