Good Idea or Bad Idea: Saddle Heels
TweetPin It
This post was going to be about the new colorways Bass is introducing this spring for their classic Enfield (aka the saddle shoe).
It comes in white and gray, perforated black, and a beige-on-beige perforated version that sounds awful but is actually amazing.
But then we saw these, and, well…no.
Sorry, but the whole point of a pair of Bass shoes is that they’re both cute and comfortable.
Add in a three-inch stacked heel and you ruin what made the original so great.
But those nude shoes, on the other hand…xxRebecca

The beige is quite awesome for both the “playing off neutrals” and “man’s clothing” trends. The heeled saddle shoe is a no-go. I liked heeled oxfords a few years back and still wear them from time to time. However, I can’t get into these saddle shoes, even if it became a trend.
