Victoria Legrand from Beach House is My Hero

3. Beach House is an incredible live band.

I’ve been digging on their albums for a while, but I haven’t had the chance to see them play. Hot desert tamale, they are good—probably the best set I’ve seen since I’ve been here. Victoria Legrand, looking achingly hip in a white jacket and gold choker, sang with a ferocious power that blew me away.

I had no idea her voice was that big.

And who knew her hair could be that big either?! Her eyes were completely shaded by thick, brown bangs and her mass of unruly curls made her look like a ’70s rock goddess.

I totally have the urge to tease my hair now…
