A Kirsten Dunst Production
This past weekend, I scored a ticket to Tribeca Film Festival’s short film series.
I got there early, bought popcorn, and scoped out the audience.
Amidst a sea of mostly young, unfamiliar, and scruffy filmmakers, I was a little surprised to spot Kirsten Dunst (we’ve featured the girl a whopping three times on the cover of NYLON) in the audience.
I didn’t think much of it, assuming our favorite quirky blonde was just supporting a friend (maybe the scruffy guy sitting next to her).
But… I was wrong!
Enter: Kirsten Dunst, the director?!
Her film, Bastard, runs only six minutes long, and stars a handful of familiar faces (i.e. Brian Geraghty, Juno Temple, Lukas Haas). Though the plot was a bit confusing (a desert, then a motel, then Juno covered in blood?), it certainly looked pretty, and I was definitely left wanting more.
Plus, who would complain about a Kirsten sighting?
